The Sexy Plastic Stilletto

seo-img-article

After many successful seasons collaborating with Vivienne Westwood, Melissa will be bringing us yet another wonderful collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier. The collaboration between the Brazilian shoes company with Jean Paul Gaultier give birth to the beautiful 10cm stiletto heels made from combination of solid and transparent plastic.

The price of the shoes is more expensive than the normal range of Melissa, retailing for £160 a pair in the UK. The reason for this is because the combination of solid and transparent design on the shoes as well as the tiny 10cm stiletto heels was able to be produced because Melissa’s effort in using the latest technology to produce the shoes.

Unlike many other Melissa heels, this got to be one of the tiniest heels I’ve ever seen they produce to date. Even though plastic shoes emanate playful sense to it, but this pair of stiletto is definitely a scene stealer of which you can take it from day to night. The shoes are available in four colours: black, beige, lime and tangerine. It will be available internationally in June and hopefully arrived at the same time at 707 *hinting really hard*.

Melissa has also worked with Zaha Hadid, Judy Blame, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Karim Rashid, and The Campana Brothers in the past. It’s one of the world’s largest footwear manufacturers, and holder of an exclusive technology for injected thermoplastic. Their shoes are made from MELFLEX plastic that’s patented, hypo-allergenic, recyclable and really flexible! You’re paying more for these shoes because not only it’s an eco-friendly product but the company also believe in recycling 99.9% of their factory water and waste. It’s (almost) literally a zero-waste factory. They also paid their employees above the average wages! The more reason to buy their shoes 😀
